Turn off “Search the Web” results in Windows 11
When you search for an item in Windows 11 Search menu, it displays local results, including apps, files, and settings. This is a useful tool, however the search results that some users will view aren’t really useful. Because, adds results from the web and these originate from Bing and are usually of little use.
On Windows 11, it’s possible to disable web results when searching through the Start menu or Search in the Taskbar, and in this guide, we’ll show you how.
How to Remove Bing “Search the Web” from Windows 11 Search?
Select Start, type regedit.exe and select the Registry Editor to launch it. Accept the UAC prompt that is displayed.
Copy and paste the following path in the Registry Editor address bar:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows
Now, from the left panel, right-click on ‘Windows’ then select ‘New’, and after that select ‘Key’. Name the key Explorer and press Enter.
Right-click on the Explorer key you just created and select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value. Name the DWORD value as DisableSearchBoxSuggestions.

Double-click on it, give it a Value data of 1, then click OK.
Restart your windows explorer to have your changes applied.
Alternatively;
Just download the remove-bing-search.rar file which located at the end of the page. ( Password: ceofix)
Extract it to any folder.
Use the following registry files;
Disable Search The Web Results on the start menu: remove-bing-search.reg
Enable Search The Web Results on the start menu: enable-bing-search.reg
Right click on the remove-bing-search.reg file or enable-bing-search.reg file and select Merge. Confirm the User Account Control dialog if prompted.
Click Yes to continue.
Registration entries are successfully added to Registry. Click OK. Restart your file explorer to look the changes.
