At Windows login screen you can see a list of user accounts with a small picture next to each one. İf you select Windows 10 user account photo, it’ll appear on the login screen, the Start menu, and various other places in Windows.
If you changed your Windows user account picture several times, the three most recent images are stored as thumbnails in the Settings app.
Here’s how to remove those old thumbnails if you’re sick of seeing them and want to start fresh.
How to Remove Old User Account Pictures in Windows 10
1- Open the File Explorer.
2- On the file explorer address bar, type in:
%appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\AccountPictures
and then press “Enter”. You will see your user account pictures on the folder, right-click on the picture that you want to remove, and click on “Delete”, Yes to remove it.
3- You will find that even if you have removed the user account picture, you still can see it with your account. If you do not want to see your pictures on your user account, you can set it to the default picture.
