How to Enable Windows Startup Sound

1- Right click on the Speakers icon which is present at the right side of the task bar. Select “Open Volume Mixer” from the options. then click the system Sounds icon on the Volume Mixer.

2- Then click the Sounds tab and check Play Windows Startup Sound and click OK.

Important:

Fast boot, can speed up boot time, But, it also prevents Windows from greeting you with a Startup Soundbecause Windows doesn’t think that your PC was actually shut down in the first place. Switching off Fast Boot can restore your startup sound.

Disabling Fast Startup

1- To disable Fast Startup, press the Windows Key R to bring up the Run dialog, type

1powercfg.cpl

and hit Enter. The Power Options window should appear. Click “Choose what the power buttons do” from the column on the left.

2-  Click “Change Settings that are currently unavailable,”

3- Then uncheck the “Turn on fast start-up” box.

Your PC should now play a Startup Sound whenever it boots.
