How to Change the Subject Line in Gmail when Replying
A well-defined Email Subject Line helps ensure that the purpose and goal of your Email message is quickly communicated and understood by the message recipient. If the subject line of an email is random and off-topic, it may fail to capture the recipient’s attention.
How can you change the subject line in reply on Gmail?
Launch Gmail on any web browser on your PC. Open the email you want to change the subject line for.
Scroll down to the bottom of the conversation and click on Reply to open the reply window. To the left of the name of the person you are replying to, click the dropdown arrow and select “Edit Subject”.
Update the Subject Line and change it to something that makes sense for your new message thread. Click Send when you’re ready to send your reply with a new subject line.
That’s all
