Does this scenario sound familiar? You’re trying to capture the perfect photo, but the auto timer engages when you want to take a photo. The moment has passed. It’s very annoying. So, can I turn off the auto timer?
Is your Phone forcing you to wait for 3 or 10 seconds every time you try to take a picture? Not only is that delay frustrating, but it can also cause you to miss the event that you were trying to photograph in the first place.
How to close the Phone’s Built-In Photo Timer
Open the Camera app.
Tap on the gear icon or the menu button, depending on the phone model, to open the “Settings” menu.
Your options are 3 seconds, 5 seconds, 10 seconds, or to turn the timer off. Select the Off option at the top of the screen.
That’s all.
