Microsoft recently shipped an update to Edge that adds several significant features. Microsoft released Edge V111 with Chat, Drop file sharing, and other features. The company also integrated the Bing button into the sidebar.
It allows you to chat with Bing AI and get answers as you browse, lets you write online with compose and check insights from improved Discover in the sidebar while browsing websites. It’s a part of Edge Copilot program to bring AI-powered Bing chatbot functionality to the browser. The problem is the Bing AI with Chat is not available for some Edge users with version 111.
How to disable or enable Bing button in Microsoft Edge?

Edge doesn’t offer any Settings option to hide or disable it. You can Remove Bing Button Using Registry Editor.
Press “WIN+R” key combination to launch RUN dialog box then type regedit and press Enter. It’ll open Registry Editor.
Once the Registry Editor opens, navigate to the following path
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft
(If edge the keys does not exist)
Under Microsoft key, create a new key and set its name to Edge
Right-click on Edge and select New > Dword (32-bit) Value.
Name it
HubsSidebarEnabled
Make sure its value is set to 0 (which it should be, as it is the default).
Open or restart Microsoft Edge.
