How to enable memory extension features in xiaomi phones?
The Memory Extension function essentially converts part of the device storage to a virtual RAM. 64 GB users can add 1 GB of virtual memory, 128GB adds up to 2GB, while 256 GB devices add 3 to 4GB. Make sure your Xiaomi phone is running on the latest MIUI 12.5. Also Clean your storage (at least 5GB free space recommended) as the Memory Extension will make use of your device’s Internal Storage. And head over to settings.
