Check if your PC supports Wi-Fi 6 in Windows 11?
WiFi 6 is a 6th generation WiFi and the successor of WiFi 5. WiFi 6 has a greater network capacity than Wi-Fi 5. It offers more stability and diminishes wireless network congestion. Windows 11 and 10 support Wi-Fi version 6; however, not all machines yet include Wi-Fi 6 adapter. If you want to connect with WiFi 6, both your device and WiFi router should have WiFi 6 support. To check for Wi-Fi 6 support on a Windows computer, follow these steps:
How to check if your PC supports WiFi 6?
Firstly ensure you are connected via WiFi. Right-click on the Start button. Then click Settings in the menu. Then click Network and Internet. Next, click on the WiFi connection and click on hardware properties.
In the “Protocol” you will see the WiFi version. If this says WiFi 6 (802.11ax) then you are connected via WiFi 6 to your device.
