Windows 11 comes with the startup sound enabled by default.
While the default sound is not bad in itself, if you are working at a quiet place like a library , then you surely wouldn’t want to disrupt everyone from their workflow, even worse, some users complain about not being able to turn down the startup sound. If you prefer your device to be silent while booting, you can turn off the Windows 11 Startup Sound.
Disable Startup Sound in Windows 11 and 10
There are More than one methods to silence startup sound in Windows 11 and 10.
Open the Settings app. Click the Sound page on the right side. Slide the scrollbar to the bottom and click More sound settings.
Then choose sound tab. Or Just right-click on the Sound settings in the bottom-right corner, and Select Sound settings.
In the Windows 11 Sound settings window, scroll all the way down and click on “More sound settings” under Advanced , this will open The Old Advanced Sound Settings in Windows 11. But the easiest methode is; paste the code below into the run window and press Enter

it will directly open the Advanced Sound Settings window. In Sound Settings dialog, Uncheck ‘Play Windows Startup Sound’ checkbox
Click on ‘Apply’ button and then click on ‘OK’ button to close Sound Settings dialog. This will disable Windows startup sound from next computer startup. If you want to turn off or on the startup sound with a click instead of using the above methods, you can use the script at the end of the page.
