WhatsApp allows you to add photos, videos, and gifs as Status. “Status” is a real time indication of what you are doing to keep your contacts up to date. Statuses will last for only 24 hours and then be removed automatically.
How can I set a photo or video as my WhatsApp status?
1- Open WhatsApp and tap menu tab ‘Status’. The Status tab is just to the right of the Chat tab
2- Tap the button that looks like a circle with a cam button to update your status. It will open to the camera view finder. If you want to record a video or take a photo, you can do so here.
After selecting an image to upload, you can write a caption, add text, crop, add an emoji or sketch on the image. This all can be done from a single window right before publishing the Status by the bottom right ‘send’ icon.
