How To Enable Dark Mode in Windows Calculator App
Windows 11 is bringing alot of options with it for example , Windows 11 includes a dark mode that you can turn on/off according to your needs. Windows 11 also ships with a built-in Calculator app. If you’re a wrapped-up Calculator application user, you might find it extremely difficult to keep looking at it for longer hours, dark mode does reduce blue light exposure therefore you can enable Dark mode in your Calculator .
In Windows there are two ways to enable dark mode in your Calculator.
a. Using the built-in Calculator settings
b. Change Windows Theme to dark
To enable dark mode in the Windows 11 Calculator using its settings, do the following steps:
1. Use Windows and R keyboard shortcuts to open Run dialog then type Calc in the box.
2. When the Calculator app opens, click on the 3 horizontal lines at the top left corner. Then select Settings from the menu.
3. Down the menu that expands out, click on the Settings option.
4. Under the Appearance section, click the App theme to expand it.
5. From the list of themes, click the radio button corresponding to the option Dark.
You can also enable the dark mode in your calculator app by turning on the dark mode in the Personalization settings but doing this will also allow the dark mode theme for Windows 11 overall and its apps. Choose Settings , then select ‘Personalization’ option. click ‘Colors’ on the right and click on the drop-down menu next to the ‘Choose your mode’ option. here choose “Dark”
