Import and Export Passwords from CSV File to Edge Chromium
The Microsoft Edge web browser can save and sync your usernames and passwords across all your devices using your Microsoft account. However, you may want to import or export passwords from a CSV file. Current versions of the Edge Chromium support exporting passwords to CSV files. But, since the exported passwords are not encrypted, I would recommend saving the CSV file to a secure location.
How to import and export passwords from csv file to Microsoft edge chromium?
open the Microsoft Edge web browser and click the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner.
From here, choose the “Settings” option.
Click Profiles tab in the left pane. From the list of options, click Passwords.
Now, click the three dots next to “Saved passwords” and choose Export passwords or import passwords from the menu.
You will be shown a warning dialog screen that “your passwords will be visible to anyone who can see the exported file.” Click “export passwords” to ignore the message and proceed. In the next step you will be asked either your account password or PIN of the currently logged-in account.
Enter the password and all passwords will be exported to a .CSV file. Choose the location where you want to export the passwords. The passwords will be saved with Microsoft Edge Passwords.csv filename.
That’s All.
