In this article, we will show you how we fixed the error that a third-party software give when tried to record Audio.
After a clean format I installed my screen recording software and wanted to test it . However, when I clicked the record button “A Problem with your Audio Device Will Not Allow The Recording To Start” error window appeared.
To find the error, I tested the microphone , but There was no problem. So my microphone was working fine. When I opened 3rd party software again, I encountered the same error. If you have a similar error related to the microphone that you can’t find the reason here is the solution.
My Microphone Is Working Properly But Voice Recording software Doesn’t work
First, click on the start menu and select “settings“. After Click “Privacy and security” on the left, click “microphone” under “Application permissions” on the right and make sure microphone access is turned on at the top.
Then scroll down the settings window and turn on the “Allow desktop applications to access your microphone” button if it is off. The problem will most likely be fixed. For me, the error was due to the button being in the off position.
To reach the same place with one click, press the Windows + R keys to open run dialog window then Run the code below.
ms-settings:privacy-microphone
After the above settings, most likely the problem will be solved.
