Use Emoji in File And Folder Names on Windows 10
Select the file or folder you wish to rename.
Press F2. Windows allows you to change the file or folder name.
While renaming, press the Win + period (.) keys to open the Emoji Panel.
Select the desired emojis from the panel, and Windows inserts them into the file name. Insert the emojis you want to add and hit X to close the emoji panel to finish up the renaming.
Notes:
1- If you have a specific emoji you want to use without having to scroll through the emoji panel, you can type in the emoji you want. While renaming, start typing the name for the emoji. So if you want to use the “cat” emoji, you would start typing without quotes “cat”. Windows displays any corresponding emojis from which you could then select. Press Enter or click an emoji to insert it. You can use a combination of numbers, letters, and emoji for the name.
