Windows 10 makes it easy to share your internet connection with other devices, whether they are running Windows 10 or not.
There are two ways to activate your PC as a mobile hotspot. The first is to click the internet connection icon on the far right of your taskbar. In the pop-up panel that appears you should see a tile labeled Mobile hotspot, with this method is you can’t know the name of your hotspot or its password. Therefor You should use Settings app, Open the Settings app , and go to Network & Internet > Mobile hotspot. Every time if you turn on computer then you must turn Mobile Hotspot on again, for this you must click mobile hotspot to turn on it and share your LAN internet. Many ask this question ; Is there a way to automatically turn it on after PC start? here is the solution

4. Disable – Enable Mobile Hotspot usage
5. Enable – Disable Mobile Hotspot via Keyboard shortcut
Windows 10 mobile hotspot turning off on its own
To Disable Automatically Turn Off Mobile Hotspot when No Devices are Connected please Do the followings;
1. Open Settings, and click/tap on the Network & Internet icon
2. Click/tap on Mobile hotspot on the left side and then Turn on Mobil hostpot (The When no devices are connected, automatically turn off mobile hotspot setting is not shown when mobile hotspot is turned off.)
3. turn off “When no devices are connected, automatically turn off mobile hotspot” button (under the Power saving)
Hopefully microsoft will add Automatically turn on Mobile Hotspot feature in the future
At last! Thank yoy very much.

You’re welcome. Thank for comment
Thank You so much! Spent 2 days trying to figure out how to start Hotspot after reboot.
Hello
Thank you for your solution and it works greatly for me but a tiny little thing.
Every time I turn on the desktop, it also turn on the hotspot and as always I command my Echo to play streaming radio station.
But after about an hour and a half, the hotspot turns off by itself without any exception during radio is sounding.
I did everything to turn off power saving option.
Is there anything I missed?
@Yong
Hello, Please do the third item.
3. Turn off “When no devices are connected, automatically turn off mobile hotspot” button (under the Power saving)
@Admin
Of course I did that, too.
And actually when the hotspot is on, three devices are always connected to it.
Thank you.
@Yong
It seems to microsoft bug
this thing seems not to work anymore. only function working is turning hotspot on and off.
@maobezw
There are two menthods which one is not working ?
1. Creating a startup Shortcut
2. creating a Scheduled task ?
Its strange that Microsoft Windows 10 not only doesn’t have a way to just have the mobile hotspot turn back on it it was on before reboot when it does have bluetooth turn back on if it was on before reboot. Both are wireless protocols, and each could be used to some extent in the same was as the other. Was saying that the mobile hotspot auto start functionality was left off on purpose “to save power” while bluetooth turns of if on at shutdown seems contradictory.
Great Job & awesome little App. Quick reminder or heads-up to next onlooker, with Windows 10 update from 1909 to 2004, the “create schedule task might not work”, so instead just have it to “Create Desktop Shortcuts” then drag the start shortcut into your startup folder.
I searched the whole internet, asked Microsoft forums, but I couldn’t find a solution. Finally a solution that really works. Thank you
