For tasks requiring administrator privileges, we need to start Command Prompt as administrator. you can open Command Prompt as Administrator from the context menu in Windows.

How to add the Open Command Window as Administrator option to the right-click ( context ) menu? For this, We have coded a simple vbe script here are the simple steps to use it.

1- Just download the script at the end of the page and Unzip it. ( Password: ceofix)

2- Then double-click on the Add_Admin_cmd.vbe. Confirm the User Account Control dialog if prompted.

3- It will show a pop-up window with the text “Admin cmd has been added to desktop context menu

4- Just Click ok button.

This change will take effect immediately. Test it by right-clicking on a desktop.

To Remove “Open command window as administrator” Context Menu

4- Simply double-click on the Del_Admin_cmd.vbe. User Account Control (UAC) window can popup and asks you if you want to allow it, Click ok to proceed.

5- It will show a pop-up window with the text “Admin cmd has been deleted from desktop context menu
