Windows 10 has a feature that provides notifications for different apps called “Toast Notifications”.
Notifications keep you in the loop about things happening around your digital life. Sometimes this sound event may annoy you while you are working on some important work and you might want to disable the sound for all notifications in Windows 10 and but sometimes you like to be alerted to notifications while away from your PC. So, it’d be nice if we could toggle the sound on or off with a click.

Method 1:
1- We have coded a script to make your job easier, just download the script at the end of the page and Unzip it.
2- Whenever you want to disable notification sounds for all apps, simply double-click on the Notifications_sounds.vbe file. User Account Control (UAC) window can popup and asks you if you want to allow it, Click Yes to proceed.
2- It will show a pop-up window with the text “ All notifications sounds has been disabled ” just Click ok button.
Ok. Thats all. You’ve disable notification sounds for all apps on Windows 10.
3- To enable the notification sounds for all apps , you can also double-click on the Notifications_sounds.vbe file. It will show a pop-up window with the text ” notifications has been allowed to play sounds” just Click ok button.

Method 2:
1- Open Settings, and click on the System icon.
2- Click on Notifications & actions.
3- Then under the Notifications section uncheck the “Allow notifications to play sounds” box. After unchecking that option, you’ll no longer get notification sounds, but you’ll see a banner in the bottom-right corner, and the notification will continue to be listed in Action Center as they arrive.
